Lattarino Festival in Marta: historic local food and wine event, which for decades has taken place in the lakeside village of Marta in the province of Viterbo.The protagonist of the festival is the lattarino, a small fish typical of the area with an incomparable flavor, which is cooked and served together with other local delicacies such as   cheese, oil and wine. The classic version of the Martese lattarino is fried (whole) in extra virgin olive oil, given the small size of the fish which reaches a maximum length of 12 cm. A well-known and appreciated party not only for the extreme goodness of the products offered, but also for the exceptional organization, which allows those who visit Marta on this occasion, very pleasant moments in absolute joy on the shores of one of the most beautiful lakes in Italy. .
