The largest and most famous is the territorial exhibition of the lake which is located in the historic center of Bolsena near the Monaldeschi della Cervara castle, in which important historical and architectural artifacts are preserved that trace the history of this place from the Iron Age to today. A Montefiascone, on the other hand, is the museum dedicated to Antonio da Sangallo, a famous Florentine architect closely linked to the events of the Farnese family. The complex houses some of the most representative works of the famous architect’s career. A Valentano, on the other hand, is the museum of the Prehistory of Tuscia and the Farnese fortress, while in the historic center ofGrotte di Castro you can find that of the Farnesian Costume. It is a particular collection that traces the uses and customs of the Farnese family, through a reconstruction of the clothes of the time.
