Santa Cristina a Bolsena: it is one of the historical events of this fabulous village located along the western shore of Lake Bolsena, where one of the most fascinating and mysterious figures of ancient Christian hagiography is celebrated: Santa Cristina. A sacred commemoration held every 24 July in which the “Passion of Christina” is celebrated, about which the many legends about her are remembered. That of the saint of Bolsena is a story made of suffering by virtue of her pure soul and her devotion to the Christian religion, a story that has remained in the hearts of Catholics and not only, so much so that it is one of the most particular and heartfelt religious festivals in Bolsena and throughout the province of Viterbo.
